Itadaki is founded and run in Sydney. We proudly design, source and make majority of our garments here - directly supporting our local makers and suppliers. When you're support Itadaki, you're uplifting Sydney's fashion industry.

Local Production

There are so many steps before getting your pieces to you, production is just one moving part yet a very crucial part. We work very closely with all our manufacturers and pride ourselves on having started and continue to work with local manufacturers here in Sydney, Australia. All our core pieces are cut in Marrickville in Sydney, Australia and then get hand delivered to our makers across Sydney. After production we personally pick up your pieces from our makers and bring them straight back to our studio to send out to you.

Being so local and close to home means we can physically be at every stage of the process. It also means we have been lucky enough to have really strong connections with all our patternmarkers, graders, cutters and makers over the past few years of Itadaki.

Post production, we use our offcuts to make a range of our accessories and for the fabric scraps that are too small to reuse we send them to local small business, Fitness Hero, where the fabric offcuts are used to stuff boxing bags. Read more about this process here.

Offshore Production

We began working with Jade and her small team in Bali in 2023 when we launched our first swim range. Since then we have been lucky enough to visit the team in Bali twice over the past 2 years and we are really confident in their production and quality of the garments. We have since expanded production in Bali and have designed and produced the Hiro Set with Jade and her team along with some exciting new things installed, including a new product range coming soon!!!!
